Dr. Brianne “Bree” Katz graduated from Parker University with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Bree is passionate about serving mommas, children, and working with FAMILIES (yes, that means MEN... she will beat them up too). She is featured on the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association website for her additional training and education in pregnancy and children of all ages and is Webster Certified (pregnancy care certified). Dr. Bree is proficiently trained in identifying Lip/Tongue ties as well as performing CST (Cranial Sacral Therapy) with infants to aid in multiple ailments facing infants/children. She has taken additional CST training with Dr. Carol Phillips, DC of Dynamic Body Balancing as well as Functional Needling training via Kinetacore. Dr. Bree collaborates and is a preferred provider for many local OBGYN’s, Midwives, Lactation Consultants, Pediatricians, Doulas, DO's, Orthopedists and local Pediatric Dentists. On a daily basis, she works with Physicians and Midwives at many of the local hospitals and birthing centers, big and small. She also has many experiences with home births and will even perform an adjustment at your birth if needed! Dr. Bree prides herself in supporting a woman’s right to birth how she sees fit. Whether that is via a vaginal delivery, c-section, or a medicated delivery... she is team YOU. She wants her office and the care she provides to be that of an accepting and nurturing environment. One where she specializes in the Pregnancy/ Pediatric/ Family chiropractic care she provides while letting the OB’s, midwives, Doulas, and all other professionals, focus on working their magic and supporting them in their work. All while collaborating about our patients care so we can offer the best, most comprehensive care and experience possible. Dr. Bree grew up in San Diego, California where she was very active in water polo and swimming. Upon graduating high school, she attended the University of Valley Forge, where she graduated with her bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. In her free time Dr. Bree enjoys spending time with her family and being active outdoors. On the weekends (and most weekdays), you will find her baking sourdough and swimming for exercise. Dr. Bree is married to her husband Michael and they share three perfect little boys, Aaron, Ari and Aydin. Good medicine is based in good science. Dr. Bree believes that it is her responsibility to help guide her patients to take charge of their health and live their lives without limitations. Dr. Bree has a huge heart for veterans and active military. Her father was a Vietnam Veteran and raised her to have a passion for those who serve their country. Before giving birth to her son in October of 2015, Dr. Katz volunteered weekly at the Dallas VA. |
