Dr. Laura Bates graduated Cum Laude from Parker University with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Wellness and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy. Dr. Bates holds additional training and certifications in Activator Technique and Webster Technique via the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Dr. Bates has served a diverse population of patients with an emphasis on identifying and correcting musculoskeletal imbalances and deficiencies. Specializing in outcome-based exceptional healthcare, Dr. Bates has spent the past four years studying and implementing soft-tissue based treatment in order to expedite the healing process and provide long lasting results. She also is Webster (Pregnancy) certified via the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and has had extensive training in treating our pediatric and adolescent population. A Panhandle native, Dr. Bates grew up in Canyon, Texas. Prior to beginning a career in chiropractic, Dr. Bates served in the United States Navy as a First Class Fire Controlman operating the Close-In Weapons System. She was selected as the Navy Region Midwest Senior Sailor of the Year in 2006. Dr. Bates enjoys hiking, camping, and Kayaking across Texas with her dog Scout. Her son, Matthew, is continuing the family tradition by serving in the United States Navy as a helicopter mechanic; he is stationed in Oceana, VA. |
